I decided to study Medicine, because of my interest in Science and Health Sciences. It wasn't easy, but I believe in following through on your passions. I think having passion is essential and can lead to success. I believe this is true with academics, business, sports, and anything else in life. As a young child, I move to the Middle East with my family, and I ended up graduating high school here. Soon after, we move to the United States. I worked for some time and started sending out my college applications. I ended up moving to China to obtain my degree. I am now a doctor with a multi-cultural background. My parents were both teachers, and this helped me realized that I also wanted to teach. While I was in medical school, I helped incoming freshman adjust to their new life. I worked with students individually and in groups to help them with their studies. Late in my education, I ended up taking a position as an ESL tutor for high school Chinese students. I hope to help more students with their needs. I use different teaching styles and look for ways to motivate my students. When I'm not studying or helping others, I love to read and I enjoy sports.
