Chemistry and math major at the University of Houston. I tutor many students at this university and serve as a peer tutor. I have received positive feedback from many students who have excelled on their examinations and classwork grades after I got the chance to tutor them. My main goal is for each and everyone of the students to ace their exam!
Experience
I believe that a large part of being a successful tutor is developing a friendly relationship with each of my students. I want my tutoring students to be comfortable with me so they can discuss their problem areas, secure in the knowledge that I would not judge them as a failure for needing help. Although hard work is important, it is more important for a student to motivate him or herself to continue the education process. When I work with my tutoring students, I help them break down their coursework into its constituent parts, so they can see how each piece fits together. - Tutored over 100+ hours to a wide range of students. - Main goal: Instill confidence and optimism in each tutoring client to ensure maximum efficiency. - Very strong background in various math and science courses. I love giving the gift of knowledge to students who are struggling in their respective subjects. - Microsoft Word and Excel certified.
